Indonesia - Garuda launches onboard visa processing

Garuda Indonesia is facilitating Weekends to Jakarta by introducing a visa onboard process on flights to Jakarta. The airlines started the experiment with the direct flights from Sydney to Jakarta.This process is allowing passengers to skip immigration at arrival. In consequence, no more currency exchanges and famous airport queues.



Garuda Indonesia passengers taking advantage of this new service will have their visa processed by immigration officials onboard the aircraft and payment will be processed when checking-in at Sydney airport.





The Indonesian Airline hopes to extend the ingenious process from other destinations...
